ifloor.com In September of this year my husband and I ordered flooring from ifloor.com. Upon arrival at our home it was discovered that the shipment could not be unloaded from the truck. The pallets were so heavy that it was necessary to have either a forklift or for the truck to be able to back up to a dock. Both pallets of flooring were damaged. We refused the shipment. Ifloor.com representatives attempted to bully us into accepting the damaged shpment. There were threats of charging us freight and restocking charges in excess of $3,000.00. Since ifloor contracted with the trucking company, the liability for the damages was an issue to be decided between ifloor.com and that company.
Because of the insistent attitude of ifloor representatives that we either accept the damaged shipment or pay I have to wonder if perhaps they were not selling damaged goods.
Upon ifloor's refusal to issue a full credit to our card, we contacted the credit card company and placed the amount in dispute. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Monday, 30-Oct-06 23:29:09 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
