I was charged $485 to replace an alternator on my 2001 Ford Escape. $250 for a new (I think) alternator, $200 for labor, and $35 FOR INITIAL TROUBLESHOOTING.

Is it a mystery to Ford Motor Company why they are loosing market share. Not to me.
