Bank of America complaint
|
Bank of America complaint I have had a terrible experience with Bank of America business credit cards. As consumers my family had two many credit cards, one of them being the Bank of America business credit card. Even though it is in my personal name and social security number they classified it as a business card.
March 22, 2006 we went to a debt management plan with Consumer Credit Counselors of Iowa. Bank of America was accepting the payments, but apparantly had no plans to accept the program. When I discovered this we took them off the program. In discussions with Bank of America, I was promised a certain interest rate and monthly payment beginning in September 2006. When September came around, they called me and claimed that there was no such program I was put on. Now the interest and monthly payment will be significantly more. They add thousands of dollars, late fees etc. They backed out and did not fulfill their promise to me. Discover, Chase, Citi, MBNA, and others ALL were easy to work with and are on the program. Not Bank of America, they won't do as they promise.
