I have had an order placed with Argos direct since the 15 August 2006 for bedroom furniture,for which on the receipt is to be delivered upto 35 days (joke). I received a letter mid September saying that the wardrobe was not in stock and that it was going to delivered to their warehouse on the 19/10/06??. I was then expecting a curtesy phone call to arrange delivery (it never came), i then contacted customer service via email hoping I would receive an OK service and be told a delivery date i'm still waiting, it would seem they have done everything to avoid delivering this furniture. It has taken for me upto today 30/10/06 to waste my phone bill yet again to see if i could get any sense out of anybody, the lady I spoke to seemed to think that they would have a delivery in the next 10 days, when she went & spoke to stock control they are not expecting a delivery for another 4 weeks which means i will have waited 16 weeks plus for Argos Direct to deliver MY furniture.
