UHAUL Overcharge

I was moving in Madison WI. I rented a UHAUL from the West Platte Dr UHAUL location. At the return of the truck, I was overcharged for a dolly that I never used. When I complained to the manager of the store, Steven Drevlow, he accused me of lying and told me that he personally checked the truck that morning and the seal was on the dolly and that it had since been broken. I asked him why should I believe him if he was not willing to believe me. He told me that they write the contract and therefore I was supposed to abide by it. He then told me that he was not going to refund me $7.39 and I should either leave his store or he would have me arrested by the police and escorted out. As I was leaving the store and told him that I would never use UHAUL services again, he then said that I should expect the police to arrest me later.

I find it unbelievable that a store manager would be willing to lose customers over $7.39. he had absolutely no customer service skills and he was incredibly rude. I am very upset that on a stressful move day, I should have to be disrepected by an incompetent manager over such little amount of money. Personally, it was not about the $7.39 but more about the principle. I am unwilling to pay for services I have not used. I will therefore not be using UHAUL'services in the future.
