Loud Music in restaurants and stores.

Loud Music in most all restaurants today makes it

hard to eat, read a newspaper or just converse

with a friend. Corporate managers have lost

control of their dining environments to employees

who "set the rules of loud music" to the

detriment of paying customers needs. I have

found McDonalds, Carls Junior, Kentucky Fried

Chicken, Burger King, Denny's, Bob's Big Boy,

Olive Garden, and many more so loud and annoying

we just don't bother eating at these places.

Arby's chain is the exception, most are quiet and

peaceful. Also, K-mart is horrific for loud

annoying music that seriously disturbs the

shopping experience and supermarkets are just as

bad and Safeway is the absolute worse offender of

all of them! When you get a chance write to

these businesses and let them know of the noise

pollution problem. Use their customer comment

cards and Websites to complain. Complaints do

work. I have seen many store quiet down when you

complain about it to the corporate office. James
