Run Rite - Auto Repairs The owner "Sasha" of the following auto shop:
Run Rite 830 N. Second St. El Cajon, CA 92020 619-442-3013
advertised the "CV Boot" repair for $49.99 on 10/05/2006. I called him to verify that for my Quest minivan they would perform the repair at the same price and he said OK.
I went there the second day and after they drove my car for a few minutes and they saw that there is nothing else wrong with my car, Sasha informed me that he can do the repair but it will cost me much more. His intent was to force me into more repairs, such as replacing the entire axle, which he realized that it is not needed and I will not agree to that.
I told him that he should not do this with his customers and he said that "as a courtesy" he can do the repair for $90 (almost double the original price). What a shame! He wasted my time and I obviously turned my back on him as every other customer should do with this type of people that cheat on their customers!
I went to a different shop that did not lie to me about pricing and did a great job with the repair (and will also have my repeat business).

Most other repair shops and dealerships are charging over $125.00 to replace one CV Boot for a Nissan Quest Mini Van. We advertised CV Boot repalcement for $49.99 per axle (MOST CARS) which dose not include his/her Mini Van.
