Poor treatment from a manager at Burger King in Upper Darby, PA. My grandson and I, have been going to this Burger King in Upper Darby, PA. On 11-8-06 on a rainy day, we decided to go through the drive-thru. We got to the window, and the first thing I notice was that, I had to say "Hi, how are you" to the person that was serving me. She couldn't say much, because she was too busy laughing and talking on the telephone with someone. I stated to her that I thought it RUDE of her to be on the phone while serving a customer. She then stated "Yeah, O.K.," and continued with her conversation. I then asked to speak with a manager, she then stated, "I am the manager." By this time I could hear her telling the person on the phone what was going on. I then ask for a corporate number, she then informed me to call the number on my receipt. I called the number and took the short survey on my experience at this Burger King. I now feel uncomfortable going to this Burger King, because of her. My grandson and I would usually go to this restaurant around 7:10 a.m. to have our "special" time together before I drop him off at his daycare, I feel sad that we may not get to spend this quality time together, because of the treatment we received from this manager.
