"CLAUDIA" SOFA / JCPENNEY ONLINE

This is an email that I sent to Customer Service at JC Penney – I just wanted to make anyone aware of this via this site & perhaps avoid the surprise that I got! Thanks.

“I was writing regarding my first time ordering experience regarding the color of the Claudia couch that I received. After perusing several of the options in your Furniture selection I chose this couch mostly based on the color of "Fern", which was to match my decor beautifully. I received the sofa on Friday & was entirely surprised to see that the color that I chose - "Fern" - was not a solid green as depicted in the advertised & zoomed in pictures. It had interwoven reds, golds & even a few strands of blue - and because of these added colors to the basic "Fern", the couch appears to be BROWN! I have gone back to your site & zoomed on each & every piece in the Claudia collection to make sure that my eyes weren't deceiving me. I even had family members do the same --- and no where do we see anything hinted, indicated or advertised other than a solid green-colored (Fern) couch. At first I was going to return the couch, but not wanting to go through the hassle I am going to keep it & work around it. I guess I just wanted to make you aware of this in case someone could do something about taking a better picture of this sofa so that another customer wouldn't make the same mistake that I did thinking it was a solid color. Other than that, the couch style & material is very nice. Thank you.”
