qwest I contacted Qwest about getting Directv. They told me my total bill with all services included would be $104 a month excluding tax. But would include internet, home phone, and directv. When we called to activate directv upon installation, they said the package we had been quoted did not exist. They had told me the package I was buying included every single channel including premium ones for a set price for 12 months and would go up later. It wasn't until after they had installed the equipment that I was told there was no such thing. I was then told my only choice was to take the lesser package or pay more...if I didn't like it, I could disconnect right then and get charged early termination fees. I chose to avoid the fees and keep the service. A directv rep contacted me 2 weeks later and asked if I wanted a promotion for all channels for 4 months for $10 less than what I was payng. After the 4 months was up it would go back to my contract that I had with Qwest. I accepted the promo after confirming it with a supervisor. Then I wasn't getting all the other channels that they said I would. I called Directv again, spoke with another supervisor who informed me that was only for brand new customers and not me. So she cancelled the promo and also said that instead of my Qwest package for 12 months it was only good for 6 months and my bill would go up then. I just received my first bill and got charged for a service I don't even have (NFL Sunday ticket)and I didn't receive the $100 rebate coupon I was supposed to get for the Directv dvr, which I was assured I would get. I would like to have the original package that was offered to me for 12 months, the NFL chargs removed, and the rebate coupon.
