mlb.com (Major Leage Baseball web site )

 

I ordered 3 World Series DVDs from this site on 11 -19-06. (order # 8601453422) (package ID 43232529). I received 1 via US mail on 11-25-06. The package included a packing list indicating that 3 had shipped. I called the mlb customer service number (888-652-7467) that day and was told to call back on 11-28-06.

 

I called on 11-28-06 and was told to send back the one I had received and that they would issue a credit for 3. I should then reorder. [Why would they credit 3 if I only send back 1? I asked this question and Kathy could not answer it.}

 

I e-mailed the customer service at mlb.com and received a standard form indicating that my order had shipped. I was told to call the customer service number.

 

I am not sure what to do. If I send back the DVD, they will probably only credit me for one since I am only sending back one. I also will not have any DVD's for Christmas.

 

I will call my credit card company today to find out how to disput the charge.

 

Please warn people not to shop at the MLB.com web site. They do not seem to have a method of correcting short-ship orders. I am warning everyone I can about this web site.
