charter communications This time around my problems started when Charter offered me a bundle package-a better price if I purchased cable, internet and phone all together. This happened at the beginning of November. To make a long story short Charter didnt show up for the cable installation appointment. They promised to come the next day but didnt show up then either. I called and told them if they couldnt keep their appointments I was cancelling my appointment to have the telephone installed. This took several hours on the telephone and being passed from one person to another-I was told that if I DIDNT stay on the phone to complete the cancellation process that my telephone could be disconnected THEY DISCONNECTED MY PHONE ANYWAY! I went without telephone service from November 8 until November 30. I spent hours trying to get this corrected on a pay telephone downtown standing in the rain-they cared not one bit about me or the fact that they had disconnected my phone. The associates even hung up the telephone when I got angry and demanded to speak with a supervisor. I can only hope that someday they'll be held accountable. For now they have no fear of any consequence and no respect for customers-they act as though causing someone to be without phone service for almost a month was some big joke.
