Unitrin Strikes Again!

To whom it may concern,

My name is Daniel, I live above Silver Falls State Park in Oregon. Where I work at a family run business.

My complaint is against Unitrin Insurance Company. After reading the local paper this morning I was furious.

A local Salem woman, Shannon 35 with cerebral palsy, who waited over six months for someone to believe in her enough to give her a job was struck by a car on her way home from work. The driver was insured by Unitrin. The crash occurred November 13 at 5:20 PM while crossing Cypress Street NE rendering her three wheeled scooter inoperable. Ron Wright of Unitrin Specialty's claim department said he could not comment on any specific claim. How original. Shannon received a letter from Unitrin saying her request for a new scooter had been denied.

When are Americans going to Unite and put this $3 billion dollar Monster, Unitrin in their place. We pay and pay every year, more and more; for insurance and every time praying we never have to file a claim in fear of being dropped, or becoming a risk. Isn't Insurance a risk? A Gamble? Maybe I might need it, maybe I wont. Face it insurance is a joke. Although it's no laughing matter. We pay through the nose and get very little in return. If Insurance was a restaurant, we wouldn't go back for a second lousy experience, would we?
