Lufthansa - Passenger threatened by Lufthansa personnel Munich Airport – Ticket Counter Lufthansa
I was booked on a US Airways flight from Munich to Denver on Nov 14th, 2006. The flight has been taken off the flightplan and I needed to be rebooked onto another flight. I had one extra piece of luggage that I needed to check in; the US Airways fee for extra luggage is 80 USD per piece. However, Lufthansa asked 110 Euro (which equals about 145 USD) to transport my extra luggage. When I asked to clarify this situation I was refused any information and was clearly told, that Lufthansa fees apply. When I insisted that I was booked with US Airways, I was THREATENED by the Lufthansa employess that they would not put me on the next available flight to Denver, but only with another US Airways flight that would only depart a day later. Being in a time crunch, being threatened and stressed out over a non-existing flight, I gave in and paid the Lufthansa fee. Once being back home I realized how outrageous this situation was and how incredibly bad I have been treated in a situation of emergency. Since the Lufthansa web site for complaints does not work, I am choosing this way of communication.
