sofa sectional- ingrassia furniture Ingrassia furniture, Rockford Illinois
Purchased a sectional that cost >$2,000.00. One of primary objectives was to find something of quality with a lifetime warranty on cushions and springs. Received furniture as promised and in good condition, but within 6 months cushions were sagging and showed indents and compression with no one sitting in them. I contacted Ingrassia and they said that this was a manufacturer’s warranty and not a store warranty and that the manufacturer was now out of business and there was nothing they could do. I fought with them for several weeks, both in person and over the phone and never received any satisfaction. At one point I had one of their reps telling me that if I brought in the measurements of the cushion they would look to see if they could find someone to manufacture a replacement cushion, but that they couldn’t promise anything. I thought it was rather bizarre, that the store that sold me the sofa just 6 months ago would not have the records or resources to determine the measurements of the cushions that they sold me. I finally just gave up. The material on the couch has worn very well and still looks good, but the cushions are non-supportive and permanently compressed.
