BEAZER HOMES IS A HOMEBUILDER OPERATION IN FLORIDA AS WELL AS OTHER STATES. A friend contracted to purchase a home from them and in the construction phase, it appeared that the home was flooded due to what appeared to be a waterpipe burst. In any event, Beazer Homes never once contacted me to let me know of the leak. They simply covered up the problem and told me that all was fine. I discovered this on a spot check visit to the home without their knowledge and took plenty of pictures. After this event, I called the salesperson at Beazer Homes and he told me that the home was coming along just great and when I asked him about the leak, he denied it !!! I have pictures to prove this. I told Beazer Homes that I could not buy this brand new home knowing that it was already flooded prior to occupancy !!! BEAZER HOMES did not do anything to address my concern as a customer and retianed approximately a $26,000 deposit that I had given them. They obviously didn't care about my concerns as a customer and simply ognored my requests for mold inspection of the premises. They treated me terribly in this case.
