Whirlpool washer/dryer combo

Whirlpool washer/dryer combo Whirlpool Corporation Canada and repair contractor Best Rate Appliances We reported a problem with stackable washer/dryer model YLTE6234DQ5 where the dryer will not shut off in either of two automatic cycles (normal or delicate). A service repairman (Matthew from Best Rate Appliances in BC) came twice and said that the dryer should not be used in auto cycle, and to use only in timed cycle. The timed cycle does not offer delicate setting. The repairman said that he has contacted Whirlpool technical support line many times for many different owners and he has been unable to get any remedy or resolution from Whirlpool. Unit has CSA ratings for voltages 208 and 240 Volt operation. Our voltage in condo building was measured at 204 volts, which is near perfect. We would like the unit replaced with another model that will work properly in all cycles. This problem has caused damage to clothing and also presents a potential fire hazard.
