Directv My worst nightmare! I signed up with a Customer Service Representative because the internet was not allowing me to sign up with the latest promotion. Not realizing, I forgot to give her my friend’s name for a referral. Prior to installation, I called and asked when should I give Directv the referral. The representative said at sign-up time. Then he said it was too late! After being transferred to several people and disconnected, they finally gave me a supervisor who supposedly handled this transaction so she can receive her credit. Directv sent out the technician to install my service in August. In September, another technician came out to do the same service! They did not setup my account properly to receive the DVR. More drama! The technician called them and straightens the matter out. As of today, I am still getting billed for a closed account and was in jeopardy of going to collections. I called them again, spoke with several representatives, disconnected several times, and finally, this issue is supposed to be resolved. I can’t wait until my contract is up – I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH DIRECTV NOR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!!
