During parking the car was very slightly scratched by an unknown car.
When I returned it in Luxembourg the employee to whom I handed the car estimated it as probably not more than 200 Euros, which also seemed to me too high.
I was astonished to get a bill of over 600 Euros !!!
The un waivable excess was defined as maximum of 590 Euros. Inter alia they charge 75$ for handling fees ... (about the real amount of the damage itself). I enclose the sole picture that was provided by Avis which speaks to itself.
The company is taking advantage on the situation that foreign customers return cars in the airport and do not have time to handle almost negligible damages by their own.
