2003 Lincoln LS Ford Complaint

Company: 2003 Lincoln LS Ford Complaint
Category: Other
I purchases a 2003 Lincoln LS V8 on September 2004. This car was under the
original warranty and came with a Ford Blue Oval Pre-Owned Certified
Warranty, which is a 6 year or 75,000 mile warranty. This car is under
warranty until 2009 or 75,000. I had the car for 4 months when it started
having transmission problems. I ended up taking it to the dealers 6 times
(3 different Lincoln dealerships) and it still wasn't fixed. I buy a new
Lincoln every two years so I offered them to trade in this car and I would
purchase another one and they wouldn't accept that offer. I called Ford
headquarters in Michigan and told them the situation. I told them that I
didn't feel safe driving this vehicle and the customer service rep told me
that they didn't care. Since the car has serious tranmission and electric
problems, I filed suit against Ford. At this time I just wanted to let
everyone know the problems with the 2003 Lincoln LS and the innapropriate
behavior that Ford practices. Here is a breakdown of my car problems:
The transmission changes gears while driving
The car bucks and hesitates when you go to accelerate
The car doesn't shift into gear the first time
The windows and moonroof open whenever it wants
The sideview mirrors move on there own pointing to the sky
I had to take this car off the road during this lawsuit and still have to
pay for it. This car has been nothing but a headache and curse.
