Empire Carpet

They are about as crooked as you can get. A friend of mine in Alexandria, Virginia paid

$ 6000 for about 600 sq. ft. of Pergo floor, which I don't think should have cost her more than $ 2500 tops, since there was virtually no preparation required. When she discovered the floor separating in her kitchen, she called Empire and they blew her off. Then there was some screw up, intentional or not I don't know, with the billing for the 1year no pay or whatever, and now the finance company *GE) that Empire uses and/or Empire itself wants $2000 more from my friend. The whole deal smacks of fraud. Don't go near these guys.
