Nashua-mobile/ cell phone contract

Nashua-mobile/ cell phone contract

I have 2 contracts with Nashua-mobile since October 2006. The phone that I got on the new contract has been faulty since day one, I logged a complaint and went into Nashua-mobile Tygervalley to report and hand phone in, they did not have any loan-phones in store and would let me know as soon as they did. Why should I have given the phone in and not be able to use the sim and still pay a full instalment on it. I also had to pay R400 cash for this phone. One of the reasons I went for Samsung Z540 is because it was supposed to play WMA files. Anyway.. waited 2 weeks for the loan phone, I had to contact Nashua to follow up on this constantly, then it was sent away and when it came back it was doing the exact same thing. I then complained again and took the phone + accessories back to Nashua-mobile Tygervalley with a request for a new phone (can be the same one if it works) or a different phone to same value or for them to cancel this contract. Up until now I have not received one phone call from any of the people I spoke to in correspondence to this. This is by far very bad customer service and I will never ever take out or refer them to anyone ever again. Nashua makes promises they can’t deliver. I am very upset, I feel this matter should have been resolved already.. for when I called the first week of receiving this phone the call centre agent informed me that I could take it back to Nashua and they will replace the handset if it is not performing the way it is suppose to, instead I had to wait a month only for it to do the same thing, the handset has now been sent to JHB to the technical department and I am once again without one but they expect you to pay the full instalment monthly. I don’t want the same phone.. if they cant give me a new one this contract must be cancelled.. but yet no response from Nashua.
