Maytag dishwasher MDB 7100

I bought an upgraded dishwasher to get the "improved" dish racks.

After 4 1/2 years the prongs are rusting out. I contacted Maytag after one prong fell off in my hands (rusted through) 6 years from new. I have city water and a water softener. All my other low level dishwashers have dishracks which never did this even when they were 20 years old.

Maytag will do nothing but sell me new racks at a cost of $190 plus shipping and handling. I will never buy Maytag again. Give me my Whirlpool anyday.
