Dear Sir/Madam.

About a year ago I had applied for a Home Loan thro your bank for which a service charge of Rupees Three Thousand was collected by cheque . Posters with "Hassle Free Service" greets a person on entering the Financial Services office...but I regret to say that this is NOT so. However after a couple of months I was informed verbally that my loan was sanctioned but not the amount requested for. At this point of time, due to the Builder's deceiving us we cancelled the loan offer.

At the time of receiving the cheque I was told that in case of cancellation or the loan Not being granted, fifty percent of the amount would be refunded. To date we have NOT received this amount despite my frequent personal trips and telephonic reminders to the concerned personnel. False promises are made by the staff about expediting the refund.

This is also to bring to your notice that to this day we have no written communictation about the status of the loan being granted or not.

I have held accounts in SCB at Jakarta and Botswana where I found the services to be excellent. With this experience I decided to avail f the opportunity in Pune, India. BUT I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND REQUEST YOU TO INTERVENE. It is not a question of the amount but of the quality of services offered here.

As Senior Professor of Management, I would be in a dilemma to recommend my students for placement in this institution.
