To whom it may concern,

Below is an E-mail I have sent to Upper Deck on June 28, 2006 which was not responded to. To be honest the lack of response did not really bother me as much until now. My anger towards Upper Deck seems to have re-emerged since everytime I look through a sports trading card magazine I see a product with the "Fleer" name on it backed by Upper Deck. I am glad to see that Upper Deck is profiting off of a name that has ripped off myself and probably alot of other sports card collectors. I understand that Upper Deck probably had nothing to do with the redemption process, but this should have been an issue that should have been forseen by Upper Deck executives and tried to have been avoided. I would like my original complaint reviewed (below) and would like a response ASAP about a possible resolution.

E-mail from 06/28/2006 that was not reponded to by the Upper Deck Company

"I would like to share my Fleer redemption card experience with you (or to whom it may concern). I sent in (2) Donovan McNabb autographed patch cards (from the 2004 Skybox LE - L.E.gends of the draft subset) into Fleer/Skybox for redeeming. Of course then Fleer/Skybox went bankrupt and eventually sold leaving individuals to fill redemption (randomly) cards for collectors waiting for their cards. Here is what was sent to me: (1)2000 Bubba Franks jersey card, (1) 2001 Kevin Johnson jersey card, (1) 2001 Emmitt Smith game-used football card, (1) 2001 Cade McNown jersey card, (1) 2001 Tim Dwight autograph card and (1) 2000 Sebastian Janikowski autograph card. To me this is an unfair "trade-off" for my (2) Donovan McNabb autograph patch cards. I realize that Upper Deck has nothing to do with this issue, but from my view point (and probably others) they are almost to blame because they own the name and should have figured something like this would happen. I am sure that I am not the only one with issues with the redemption process that took place or with what they received. The purpose of this e-mail is to inform you of how unsatisfied I was with what I have received and also to let Upper Deck be aware that I will no longer purchase any more products from this great company because of its business with the Fleer brand. My opinion is based on pure principle and I just hope other collectors who went through this unfair redemption process feel the same way I do. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Dale Dwaileebe"
