LG DVD, MP3 PLAYER AND VIDEO "COMBO SET"

I am an individual in my private capacity who support all LG products and got most of the electronic equipment in use at home.

My LG Home Theatre Combo Set kept on tripped. It had a year guarantee and just after the year guarantee this problem occurred. When I took it in to check what was wrong I was informed that the power supply and the fan inside to cool the machine off is faulty. The quote that I received was R1 899 to fix because the guarantee expired.

Can you guide and assist me. It was a brand new system which I paid +_ R3500,00 for.

Please inform me what to do next. The system is in a box at home.
