GE Spacemaker radio CD player

I own 2 GE spacemaker radio/CD players. Both worked wonderfully for about 1 year, then both CD players quit. The CD players display "nd", no disc. The disc goes in, spins, but doesn't play. Repeated calls to the GE call center get you no where. I'm simply trying to find a repair center, but there is no way I've found to get a live person to assist me. I guess both $80 radios are trash. Thanks, GE, for your outstanding customer service. I'll never buy another GE product.
