Dry Cleaning Establishment Dry Cleaning Establishment Dry Clean-R-Us Chickasaw Trail and Lake Underhill Orlando, Florida My Complaint is: For the past 3-4 years, I have supported my local Dry Cleaner. Every two weeks or so, I take 14 to 20 shirts in for a wash and press. They did an nice job, knew my face, and were always pleasant. When Dry Clean USA changed hands so did the quality of the service with an interesting twist. We purchased new shirts in June for my son. These were added to the stack and the number rose to between 20-30 shirts every 2 weeks. Two weeks ago, I went to get the laundry and noticed the price was much higher. I inquired and they said some of the shirts were linen and had to be dry cleaned. I explained these shirts and been washed and pressed for 3 months so why was I now having to pay for dry cleaning something that goes through the washer. The attendant checked into the history and refunded some money. So, the next trip had 28 shirts. I instructed the attendant to have all shirts washed and pressed. When I picked up the shirts, the bill was just over $80.00. A different attendant said these shirts were linen and had to be dry cleaned. Why? They have been washed for 3 months. Seems to me this cleaner is working on a way to increase their revenue. As an intelligent individual, I read labels to determine the care. If it says washable linen... they get washed! It's simple. If I am not sure, they are dry cleaned. I did inform the attendant I would not return to the establishment or to any other of the 11 (I think that is the number) Dry Clean-R-Us stores Mr. Kameish Patel owns. Just thought the public needed to be aware of the problem.
