Circuit City - Circuit City Ridgeland Ms 39157 Countyline Rd Alarm+Install=Unhappy
I have a 2003 Mazda Truck that came with remote entry and needed an alarm just for peace of mind. This alarm is good for the price i thought, but I am now a bit dissappointed after having used it for a few days. If I accidently use my old keyless entry system remote the new remotes that came with the alarm do not work, or if I accidently lock my truck without locking it with the alarm remote, the alarm remote will not unlock my truck. I have not had time to take it back but will next week I hope and if it is fixed I will update this review. I thought there was a bypass switch on all factory alarms, wonder if Circuit City couldn't find mine?
My other complaint is where the LED was mounted I wanted and expected them to put it somewhere where it could be seen through the entire truck not just on the drivers side. And the sensor is mounted top left of my windshield which should have been placed somewhere in the center of the vehicle. Although I may be a bit old school from the last alarm I had, the installers actually asked me where I wanted everything mounted???
And at last for some reason you can set the alarm and open and drop my tailgate and it does not set off the alarm? Not to good in a truck in my opinion. From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Wednesday, 15-Nov-06 23:14:18 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
