I purchased a bed for my daughter in the San Carlos Levitz Store. I set it up to be delivered to her new house in Tullatin, Oregon. They delivered the bed but it was damaged when it was put together and it wobbled. For circumstances beyond my daughters control she had to move 5 days after they installed the bed to a house in Hillsboro Oregon. She had called Levitz to come out and replace the broken bed prior to the move and got nowhere. She then moved the bed to the new house and we finally got someone to replace the Headboard and the footboard but the gentlemen who delivered it said the bed is defective because the screws do not secure the bed properly. We are nothing but the run around. My daughter has not been able to sleep in the bed and has had to sleep on an air mattress on the floor. She is afraid that the massive headboard is going to tumble onto her head and crush her. Levitz refuses to exchange to bed and says that the warranty is expired since she moved it and the extended warranty, which we purchased, people have to look at the bed. This could take another 2 weeks. It has already by almost 3 weeks of not sleeping in a bed. HELP

 

My name is Carole Lawrence (650) 222-1723, I have put it on my Levitz Charge card and I will not pay this bill until this is resolved, So please let me know what my next step should be.
