Received machine on 6-28-05. A couple months later, it was beating itself to death. An idler pulley was repaired, {no charge under warranty} Now 4 1/2 months after the warranty expires, it appears that the seals at the pump had been damaged and now are leaking, even when the machine is not running.I called their customer relations

# 1 800 688 9900, AND DENIED ANY RESOLUTION. They referred me to their Solutions Specialist, and was agaIn DENIED. I was then put on hold, {AGAIN} and after a very lengthy time connected with their Solutions Manager, {Melissa}. Explaining my problem again I was refused any assistance with the labor, and house call costs involved, with my problem. I feel that my only recourse is to call attention to their shoddy product, and customer service departments, and to warn other people of the numerous problems that they are experiencing. I E In the last 3 years,the BBB has received 955 complaints, and Maytag is not even a member! THEY PROBABLY COULDN'T QUALIFY. DISGUSTED IN OHIO
