Doubleday Book Club As will be no surprise to anyone who searches for this company on Complaints.com , this is one book club to steer away from at all costs. I have only been in a few months, but already they have sent two shipments of books to my house that I cancelled under my feature selections list. The first one was sent back and credited, but the second one, though it has been returned, has yet to be credited weeks later. At first I thought that I would fulfill the remaining 3 books I have left under my "requirements" , but the way it sounds, they will find some other trick to make me stay in the club. If anyone has any ideas for how to get out of this disgraceful con act, please let me know. There has got to be a large enough demand to get this irreputable company shut down! That way you don't need to decline the featured selections and they won't ship automatically. For books that you returned, allow 4 weeks. If you don't see it off your invoice call and they'll remove them.
