I have been contacted by Academy Collections Services and not only have I been mistreated but they have been rude to both my mother and my father.

They originally called my parents at home, how they got the number, we may never know, and basically gave my information away, including my social security number to my father, which, i am over 18 and my father absolutely did not verify my ssn or give any other indication that he was my father other than saying so!

So i come home and we call them back after they had originally said that they were going to allow me to pay the balance in 5 payments, they then came back, when i called them the next day with 3 payments. they stated they never made the original offer and that clearly i am trying to trick them.

Barbara Wells was quite pleasant and i think that she feels the same way about myself that is probably why every time we speak she immediately passes me to some asshole supervisor who either has an IQ of 67, cant speak audible English ( i.e. he would mumble to either a)think it was cool to do so like the hoodlum he is or b) to save his own ass when he tells you one thing but doesn't want to back it up).

They then stated that i can go ahead and post date some checks and they will call me 8-10 days prior to cashing them. What kind of idiot is running this place? not ONLY is it illegal to post date a check but what in gods name do they think will make me trust them enough NOT to cash them right away?!

Academy Services can call their "client" and tell them to shove it.
