Sears Gold Mastercard

Sears Gold Mastercard I've been a Sears cardholder since 1995 and haven't had any problems with them until recently. I know it's at their discretion to change your credit card agreement but they recently have my APR to 32%!!! Now, I pay them ON TIME and have very good credit! Not to mention, I recently paid off my account of over $3000 in Sept 2006. No bill or statements for October and now in November, my statement says I owe $10 for my Average Daily Balance??? of what when the balance is ZERO?! They said that "Finance charges for purchases, balance transfer, and cash advances will begin to accrue from the date the transaction is added to your balance. They will continue to accrue until the payment in full is credited to my account. this means when you make your final payment on these balances, you will pay interest for the time between the date your last statement prints and date your payment is credited to your account." Ok, so you're telling me that my posted balance in Sept. 06 is really not my full balance. Keep in mind I haven't used this card since May 2006! So basically, I have to continue paying them when I already paid my balance in full. So to those of you, who are planning on getting a Sears MC, don't do it!!! They will kill you with overcharges that are not legitimate!!! _________________________________________________________________ Get today's hot entertainment gossip http://movies.msn.com/movies/hotgossip?icid=T002MSN03A07001 From: Message Author (click here to email author)Date: Saturday, 11-Nov-06 21:06:57 CST Business: Reply Online Consumer: Comment On This |
