Slimy business at Circuit City

Slimy business at Circuit City Hello, I am very frustrated with Circuit City, doing business at eBay as "trading circuit", or more fully: www.tradingcircuit.com stores.ebay.com/trading-circuit circuitcity.com/eztradein I "won" a small item in an eBay auction with no shipping charge listed. The item isn't at all breakable or large. In the check-out process the shipping didn't appear until the last possible moment. Turned out my only shipping option was FedEx and the shipping charge was almost twice what the item cost. US mail wouldn't have been more than a couple dollars. At that point I aborted the check-out and sent them an eBay "request for a "total amount" including (US mail) postage. Instead, I got an automated email telling me to go through the check-out process. I emailed them a couple more times, asking for them to mail, not FedEx it, and got the same automated reply. These replies were to my email address, not through the ebay message system -- this company is just using eBay as a front for their "we'll do business any way we please" system. I then wrote that if I didn't get a "total amount" including US postage, I wouldn't continue with the purchase. That got a reply from a human saying, "...we do not cancel auctions" -- their way of saying, "Too bad pal; you bought it, we can charge whatever we want to send it to you." This, in my opinion, is slimy dealing. Beware of Circuit City.
