Dear Sir,

 

I am sending this email as a complaint due to me being a long standing customer of yours for many years.

Well i changed jobs 6 weeks ago and wanted to changed my payment date on my direct debit, well i telephoned your office to advise you not to take payment on the 15th & to change date to the 27th of the month, was adviced by lady that as it took 10 days to sort, it would be best to cancel my direct debit and she will send new one out in post. I said ok but at the time didnt think she was trained up enough to cope with what i was saying, therefore i cancelled my direct debit, then a few days later received a telephone call from a gentleman saying why did i cancel my direct debit, explained the situation and he told me not to worry will get sorted, well low and behold my new direct debit has not been taken and you have cut me off, so once again 3rd time lucky i called your customer services department spoke to Andy in Fife would not give me his surname, says that i cancelled direct debit, the conversation went on for 20 minutes using my phone line to explain what i had told 2 other people before (this being such a simple matter of date change on existing direct debit), not getting anywhere as "like a robot he keep repeating that i cancelled my direct debit" in the end lost my temper as your company have really anoyned me now and too think that i have been a long standing customer of yours for many of years and treated the way that i have been by a bunch of people who dont have a clue what they are talking about

I have now got my sky re-instated but not happy at all about the way you have gone about it, if i was at fault then i would hold my hands up to it, but im not at fault..... i have now had to make a payment tonight over the phone which i stress i wanted to do several weeks ago, and set up new diect debit details...... but i sopmehow wish i never re-instated and gone with telewest as im sure they dont treat there long standing customer like you do....... also how are you going to compensate the amount of money i have spent on call's to your office.
