I contracted with Home Depot to install new flooring in my house. Home Depot, in turn, contracted with Houston Home Improvement (281 548 7994; 281 212 4103) to remove bathroom fixtures as part of the job. Houston Home Improvement scheduled to arrive at my house between 1:00 and 3:00. They never showed up. I called at 3:30 and was told that someone would call me back with more information about the delay. No one called. I called again at 4:30 and was given the same run-around. Finally, the plumber called back around 4:45 and said he was "on his way" from a location about one hour away. I expressed that I needed to run errands and may not be back until 6:00. He said he would wait for me if he arrived before I did. I returned home before 6:00. He still never showed up. Around 7:00, I discovered a note on the door, "Sorry I missed you. Please call the office to reschedule." This was my only day off for a long time, and Houston Home Services wasted my time and treated me like dirt. Now my whole floor installation is likely to be delayed because of their incompetence and/or gross lack of concern for their customers.
