Request to CLEAR MY NAME OFF the DEFAULTERS LIST.

I had a StanChart credit card many years back.

In 1999-2000 I closed my credit card account.

Further on 18-Jan-2001 I paid FULL & FINAL AMOUNT DUE on my Credit Card.

I received letter no: Ref No: Jan/Ccs/14 dated 19 Jan 2001 from your COLLECTIONS MANAGER - stating all my dues are CLEARED, and that FULL & FINAL SETTLEMENT HAD BEEN MADE OF MY my Credit card no: 5404607010972415.

Just last week I wanted to apply for a financial instrument of an Indian Bank, and they informed me that my name has STILL BEING KEPT AS A DEFAULTER by Standard Chartered Bank.

I am surprised and shocked to note this since I had cleared each and every penny due to your bank.

I request you to IMMEDIATELY CLEAR MY NAME off from the defaulters list.
