On March 31, 2006, I purchased a cell phone case from the above store, a Body Glove, price 29.99. The case was defective. I called to report the defect. My husband took the case back to the store two weeks later (We live 70 miles from the store and with gas prices as they are, this is quite a trip, plus we are senior citizens). The store manager, Melanie Madara, stated that she could not refund the purchase price because I used MY credit card, and my husband did not have MY credit card with him. Therefore, my husband left the damaged case with Melanie Madara. I phoned her requesting that she return the case to me by mail. She refused, stating that I could come get the case. I told her that I could not do that and mailing the case to me was much cheaper. She stated she would. I called again a week later, and Ms. Madara had not "had time" to mail the defective case. She told me she would send me a new, black, Body Glove case instead. I thanked her and waited. Now, on May 30, two months later, I have called Ms Madara twice more (she is never in the store when I call), and, again, she has not "had time" to mail the case to me.

 

Today, I called and asked for Ms. Madara's supervisor and was told this is "Dennis Nixon".... However, no one in the stores except Ms. Madara knows how to contact this person, and Ms. Madara is, again "not there" because she is "at a meeting."

 

I will not give up on this. I have tried to contact Sprint corporate offices, which is, somewhat like going around your left foot to reach your right elbow.

 

This is terrible service. However, I find it is quite typical of Sprint in general, so I should not be surprised that it is typical of one of their stores.

 

Sprint/Nextel can reach me at 940 859 6972, or write to me at Email User, or send me a new Body Glove case, one that is NOT defective, or send me the defective one and I will deal with it, to my home at 461 West Hobbs, Boyd, Texas 76023.
