ASPIRE VISA CREDIT CARD CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER

ASPIRE VISA CREDIT CARD CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER

Hi there,

Iam sorry to bother everyone but I have been browsing

through the website for a toll free number for Aspire

Visa credit card. I desperately need to report that my

credit card was lost. I went to aspirevisa.com and

they did not provide a number to report lost/stolen

cards. In fact, they stated to call the number in the

back of the card which does not make sense since I

lost it. I should look through my bills but we are

in the process of moving so everything is a mess.

I somehow came across to complaints.com and thought I

should post this. Obviously I'm really really REALLY

desperate to contact them immediately and I hope you

can be able to assist me. JUST A TOLL FREE NUMBER for

reporting lost or stolen aspire visa cards, that's

all. I would really really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Gwen

used the card today and always go online to check the charges and lo! the credit limit was reduced by $150....then I did some searching and found these posts.

The card still works and have received no letter......is it only some accounts or all that are going to be closed? I can find nothing in business reports about this....

I got the same letter. I try to pay online can't ever get into my account. If you get a hold of them on the phone my account does not exist. Hello, people I have had an account for 4yrs or more. Why should we have to pay on an account that they can't keep up with? This card is a joke!

I am so sorry to hear you are having so many problems with Aspire Visa. I am also having a lot of problems with them. I have very good credit & have had a card with Aspire for a long time. I got a letter today & it stated that they are lowering my credit line to $100.00 with no explaination. I really don't care because I have several other cards. But then I went to call them to cancel it all together and I can not get thru on any of the numbers I found. As far as I'm concerned they can take their card and put it where the sun don't shine. Sorry but they are so frustrating. I would give you a number but none of them work. Sorry.....

Hi All:

I just found the phone number by your replies. Thank you! I was disappointed with this company and should have stayed away from them. They couldn't even give me my full acccount number because it is against their policies. Yet, I could do an address change and give them my social security number, they can't give me my account number to this account I am trying to close with them. I hate this company sooooo much and plan to report them to the BBB for the way they handle their customers. I gave them a piece of my mind because it was absolutely ridiculous. I have never heard of a company that can't give you your own full account number because I needed it to get out of my closed account with a balance of $1,000+. They told me to wait for my next statement and I can't, I needed it right at the time that I called. I'm just tired of dealing with this company. I HATE ASPIRE CARD!!!!!!! THEY ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL TO THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!

Aspire Visa is a NIGHTMARE!!! Something told me when I first opened the account to cancel it, and I tried, but when I called customer service they convinced me to keep the account open, saying it will rebuild my credit which was my goal. When I lost my job, they harrassed me like no other company, and I was constantly paying late fees. I recently paid off my balance in FULL...which was $1033.00. When I looked at my credit report after a couple of months, it still showed that I owed Aspire a balance of $1.35. Which was insane, because I called customer service for the exact balance before I paid it. When I saw this on my credit I hunted down the customer service number, and the automated vm, says not only do I owe $1.35, but that it is a past due balance. Needless to say I was furious. When a live person got on the phone I was hung up on after holding for 5 minutes. I calmly called back and was told that the $1.35 was a residual interest balance, and that it would be taken care of. I will be calling Aspire Visa back within the next few weeks to make sure it HAS in fact been handled....This company should be put out of business, it is a complete scam!!

Hello Gwen, I just read your email re: Asprie Visa. I had a hard time finding the number, as well.

Aspire Visa's # is: 1-866-816-6993.

When you call, the recording will say, "Welcome to Card Services..."

Good luck,

I have a card from them as well, Infact, Im canceling the card now. I can say that this has been the absolute worst credit card I have ever owned. They would send me bills several days before they were due, giving me all of 2 days to ensure that my payment would arrive on time. paying the amount online would mean entering my credit card into a box on their site(which was unsecured at the time) and entering all my bank account info as well(unsecured as well). There was no secure login to do this, it was all open ended, non encrypted and completely unsafe.

anyways, the number on the back of my card is 1-800-348-8783 if you still need the number. Good luck, and if your card is still good, Id cancel your membership as well.

I had a similar experience with the inability to locate a customer service phone number. I had my credit card STOLEN and had no way to contact the company to cancel the card while charges to it kept going. When I did finally locate a telephone number (online; someone else, like yourself complained about its not being listed even on statements and posted it) the place was CLOSED! But the problems kept coming. I had serious issues with the online bill pay, so much that I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. My online statements showed different balances due than the paper statements.. Because of this 'discrepancy' whatever I paid would always be insufficient regardless. Such being the case, the company would go ahead and charge me late fees. Any payment I made to correct the situation would be retroactively applied. So even though I was paying more than the minimum payment, the company only considered each month's payment as a payment towards the previous month's balance. I would have had to send in two different payments for it to actually count. I also had to pay attention to the dates my payments were made. I had issues paying my bills early as well. Any payment made EARLY on the account before the 15th of the month as well would get applied towards the previous month's statement, not the bill actually due. So, bam, charged with ANOTHER late fee. This was infuriating. I must of called customer service ten times to get an explanation. Problems kept going though. I try to pay most of my bills online in this digital age rather than send in a physical check. Can't make payments over the phone without being charged a $15 fee... But my 'online payment due' was never correct. Most of the time it said $0 was owed. I assumed, once again, that my paying the balance early was being reflected on the online statement page. Well, I was wrong. Apparently to find the balance due, I would have to look at my paper statements each month when making a payment instead. I mean, should the online statement not be the same as the paper statement?! More importantly should the balances showing not be the correct balances due?! Problems don't stop there. The billing dates kept changing as well. You know how most credit cards and bills are due on the same day each month, well my Aspire card's never were. Some month's billing cycles were even under thirty days. This can really screw someone up when they are just trying to keep their credit in line. Absolutely ridiculous. I was also thrilled to find my interest rate crept up without notice (which is illegal) and new fees sprung up unexplained each month. Not that I want to keep or even use the card, but it is noteworthy to mention that after the letter to the Better Business Bureau, my credit on the card has since been frozen. I can't wait to check my credit to see how badly the 'rebuilding credit card' has ruined my score. I'm a pretty responsible consumer who was just trying to fix their credit problems created while in college. Frustrating to say the least. But in case someone else requires the customer service number here it is: 1-866-816-6993. Good luck getting through.

I agree about this being the biggest bullshit company I have ever dealt with. They wait until your late to cash your payment checks so they can charge you a fee and they charge you your annual fees when you right at your limit to put you over so they can charge you another fee. I hve never dealt with a company like this before and I hope to never deal with any other company like this one.

This is the most bullshit company I've ever dealt with. My husband never gets his bills when he's supposed to first of all. And second, I sent a check to payoff the balance almost 7 1/2 weeks ago and it still hasn't been cashed. I'm sure they're just holding it to add more fees like they do every other time

This credit card company is a joke. I love how not easy they are to be reached by phone. It's amazing that all numbers for Aspire Visa are either non working, or get this they are closed on a friday during business hours. As soon as I've paid this off, I will no longer do business with Aspire Visa, horrible customer service. I've been trying to find a working number for over 45 min. now. Horrible customer service.

You know what makes it even more fun...if you lose your card you can't even create an account on their website to report it. You have to know the card number----IMAGINE THAT!!! Visa is giving themselves a bad name with this card.
