Euro Pro Steam Clothes Iron

Euro Pro Operating LLC: I purchased this iron from HSN. The Iron developed a short while I was using it. The Iron was purchased 12-25-2003 and worked well until the short occurred(sparks and fire). I sent the Iron to Euro Pro Operating, LLC in Plattsburgs, N.Y. It has been 3-4 weeks. I haven't heard anything from Euro Pro about the repair. The Irons warranty had expired. I was instructed to send a check for repair and S/H.
