TigerDirect.com software order TigerDirect.com software order In Dec '05 I ordered a bunch of Computer Associates software, which was free after rebate, and a trial version of one package, where you would be charged after 30 days if you didn't call in. Well, I tried to call in. Many times. After unbelievably long hold times, I'd ether give up (after 20-30 minutes), or get disconnected. I searched online and found other 800/866 numbers for Tiger Direct, but I never once actually got a person on the phone. I tried using their web form, but got no reply. At this point, I'm mad, so I decide to return the whole order. But you have to call to get an RMA. I can never get through. After a few months of trying at different time of the day, weekdays/nights, weekends, etc., I finally contacted American Express to refuse the charge. Tiger Direct's reply was they had no record of my calling… no kidding! Avoid Tiger Direct regardless of price. Even free isn't worth it.
