USPS

In the last week, I've had two packages of expensive items sent to my home in Waldorf, Md via the United States Postal Service. Of the three, two of them arrived crushed with such force that the contents were destroyed, even though they were in protective packaging. One looked like someone had stomped on it, crushing a collectible item inside it, and another was hit or had so much weight on it that it broke a metal rod and bent it. This is not a matter of things being dropped or a box being hit. This is hundreds of pounds of force so that sturdy things in boxes are CRUSHED.

The USPS cannot be trusted -- don't send anything you care about through it.
