E. Burnham Cosmetics and RMCB Collection SCAM

My grandmother received a free sample of face cream from E. Burnham Cosmetics several months ago. She never requested this sample nor signed up for any free trial or sample. Now she is receiving collection notices from RMCB (Retrieval-Masters Creditors Bureau, Elmsford, NY) to collect $26.95 which they said was due by 5/15/06. It amazes me how CROOKS can create these schemes to rip off the innocent....my poor 86 year old grandmother does not deserve the emotional upset this causes her. She has always paid her bills on time, and the fact that she is being sent to a collection agency is terribly upsetting to her..and I am furious that these two companies can band together to cook up this FRAUDULENT BUSINESS arrangement. They should both be fined and put out of business for attempting to shake people down for money they don't owe. I have advised her not to pay this bill because companies can not force you to pay for items that you did not order or request...it is against the law.
