Smooth Moves located in Lakeport, CA damaged our TV due to their own

negligence. When we pointed out that the frame was cracked and the

corner of the picture a bit fuzzy they said they would take to a repair

shop. We asked that if they could not repair it that we receive the TV

back. Smooth Moves told us that the repair shop took the TV apart to

determine the problem and left it in a state that it could not be put

back together. We asked for the value of the TV ($899 market) and they

agreed only to pay us the cost of the move. They put in writing in a

letter that they would pay us $540 (cost of the move) 90 days from the

date of the letter. We received a check of $255 100+ days later stating

"final payment." Our calls would not be returned. They are an

unethical, deceitful company that has poor business practices.
