United Airlines Frequent Flyer Program.
For several years now I've had trouble redeeming my United Airlines Frequent Flyer Miles. Today I tried to book a round trip flight from Seattle to Atlanta a couple of weeks from now. Their online program indicated the outbound leg was available but there was nothing available from Atlanta to Seattle using super saver ticket and miles.
I then checked availability for every day from the beginning of June onward. The first available seat for this ticket was July 27. The next available seat was in late August!
It appears United does not really want people to use their frequent flyer miles. This is in stark contrast to Alaska Air where I regularly use my frequent flyer miles with ease.
