We purchased our recliner in 2002.The metal part attached to the handle to bring up the foot rest broke.After 6 calls,'hold on a minute' AT LEAST 6 TIMES-ALL DOCUMENTED,I was told that the handle was not covered.
Five times I was told ' A TECHNICIAN WOULD BE OUT WITHIN (5-7,7-10,) days".
I sent a letter to them,the store where I purchased it ,and the Better Business Bureau along with a picture of the broken part and a copy of the spec sheet showing that the part is covered.
If I do not get any reply w/i 10 days I will forward a copy of the complaint to the Attorney General's Office in New York
I got great results last time I did this. Besides,he's running for Govener so I expect results,
