I know you all are familiar with this close-to-a-scam credit report monitoring service from Experian.com. Discover Card just reversed 4 months of their unwanted $9.95 charges for me. I had tried to cancel after laboriously finding ONE of their many numbers and was put on "endless music hold."

Discover Card said they would put CIC*CM on their "Watch List" and that if a number of people complained then CIC*CM would no longer be allowed to offer Discover Card when signing up for the "free" credit report that is the bait.

Can you get this information out somehow? It'd be nice to get back at 'em, although I suppose they'll only change their name and continue on with their little game. Somebody ought to give Experian.com a whack about this.

Oh, and PS: You should publish the date of each complaint because if they're too old there's really no point in replying to them.

'Free Credit Report' agreed to close my account and refunded me some charges on 1 May, today I noticed they're charging me again. They're just fraudsters.

One hour of my time today to cancel this CIC Credit thing, and still nothing. Discover card is, however, disputing the charge and from what I read, I think this will end the misery. I am going to complain loudly to the BBB about Experian!
