Complaint: Yahoo! Canada Travel Reservation Information - KTISEK

To whom it may concern:

I have recently booked a trip from Ottawa to Las Vegas (TRIP ID # KTISEK) from the Yahoo Travel - Travelocity. Due to a flight change/cancellation, my itinerary was messed up and I would not be able to make my connections to Las Vegas.

My original flights were:

AC 8335 YOW 5:00pm - ORD 6:05pm

UA 1567 ORD 8:00pm - LAS 9:56pm

They were changed to:

AC 8330 YOW 6:55pm - IAD 8:33pm

UA 363 IAD 9:50pm - ORD 10:45pm

UA 1567 ORD 8:15pm - LAS 10:05pm

#1) The person who has made changes to my flights was negligent. How am I supposed to make the UA 1567 flight at 8:15pm while I am still in the air on AC 8330?

#2) Not only that, the Yahoo Travel has never informed me about the changes until I went online to print my itinerary this afternoon.

I called the Yahoo Travel earlier (2006-05-10, 2:45pm) but was told that I had to get help from UA directly. When I called UA around 3pm, I was told that the flight changes should be Yahoo Travel's responsibility. The UA also said that it has informed Yahoo Travel and Yahoo Travel is then responsible to inform me about the changes because I book my trip through Yahoo Travel.

Luckily, the UA customer rep was so much helpful and knowledgeable than the Yahoo Travel customer rep. Although I did not book my ticket with UA directly, the UA customer rep has helped me to change and confirm my flights so that I would be able to reach my final destination.

I have booked many of my trips online before (through expedia or airlines web sites). This is my first time booking a trip through Yahoo Travel - Travelocity and is the worst experience ever. Since Yahoo Travel is only willing to take my money for my trips but reluctant to provide any customer support, Yahoo Travel - Travelocity should refund the service fee to me.
