March 14th: I brought my 20” Sony Wega TV at the Circuit City for repair. The problem was it takes a while to turn on.

March 19th: Circuit City called me few days after I dropped off my TV informing me that it was already fixed. I then went to the store on the 19th to pick up the 20” Sony Wega TV. On the same day, I purchased a new 26” Sony flat screen TV from them.

After a week or two, I experienced the same problem that I had before and in addition, when watching DVDs, the picture quality was dark.

April 29th: I brought back my TV for the 2nd time, at the Circuit City where I brought it the first time. I was informed that they will contact me when the TV is ready.

A week has passed but I never received a call from Circuit City so I decided to

call them myself.

Following weekend: (Not sure for the exact date) I was told that their technician didn’t go to their store yet. She then I was told me that a technician will probably visit the following week which is the week of May 7th. I then gave them that week. Again there wasn’t a single call about the status of my TV.

Following weekend: (I am not sure when the exact date was) I called to follow up the status of my TV again. The lady whom I was talking to asked for the ticket number of the service which I provided from the receipt Circuit City gave me when I dropped off my TV. I was then asked if I was looking for the 26” flat screen TV and I said “NO”. I told her that I have the 20” Sony for service and the 26” flat screen was the TV I recently bought. Then I was put on hold because they had to find out what’s going on with the TV. After few minutes on hold, another person talked to me and verified some information. I was then put on hold once again. After another few minutes, someone came back to the phone and I was informed that they are working on my TV and they were just ordering some parts to fix it and the technician will wait for the part.. I then I asked, how long will it take? They said I should get a phone call within that week. So I said OK. As I assumed that by next weekend, I could bring my TV back home. Again I never received any call about my TV for the whole week.

May 20th: I once again gave them a call to find out the status. As usual they asked for the ticket number and some information to verify. The person whom I was talking to couldn’t provide the information that I needed. I was then asked if they can call me back. And I said, “That’s fine” and I even told the person I talked to that I hope a manager will be the one to call me back. After 10 or 15 minutes, I received a call from the manager of Circuit City and finally we were in the same page. I was surprised when he told me that the 20” TV was sent out for service on May 18th. Last week I was told that they were ordering parts to fix it but then after a week, the TV was sent out for service without even notifying me. I was upset about the situation and with the service I am getting from Circuit City. The manager then told me that he will personally follow up the repair and be on top of it. Not just that, he also told me that he will update me on the status of the TV once he knows it from the repair people.

Until now, I haven’t received a call from any personnel of the Circuit City nor the manager who gave me such assurance. It's been more than a month since I brought my TV to that Circuit City Location. And this is not fair anymore to my part.

( if you need my complete name or address, just let me know and I will provide it)

Thank you and I hope that this will be published.
